Connect Groups
Connect Groups are communities of people who seek to tangibly reflect the redemptive love of Christ to one another as they share life together, deepen their faith in Jesus, and engage in service as a small group to meet needs within our community (inside the church or outside). Contact Michael Groves to sign up or learn more below:
Men’s Ministry
The Men’s Ministry Committee hosts small weekly discipleship groups that meet all around the greater Harrisburg area at a wide variety of dates and times. For more information, contact Janie Conway using the button below:
Women’s Ministry
Wisdom Seekers is passionate about going deep in God’s Word and meets on Wednesdays during the Fall and Spring on Wednesday mornings from 9:15am-11:15am at the church. Free childcare is available.
Nursery
We’re honored to provide nursery care during worship services and many special events. The nursery suite is located directly across from the Fellowship Hall.
Children in Worship
“Children in Worship” is held during the second half of each weekly service and teaches children how to enjoy worshipping God with others. The age-appropriate environment shows the how and why behind every element of a worship service. Attendees learn the words and meanings of great hymns, traditions, and creeds, listen and respond to interactive sermons, and discover the elements of historic worship like the Doxology and offertory. It’s worship designed for their special size and pace!
“Children in Worship” is most appropriate for ages roughly four through eight. While there is no standard age for children to transition from Children in Worship to the full service, elders and ministry leaders can help parents determine the right time for their child.
Children in the Word
In addition to Sunday morning worship, we provide a Sunday evening program throughout the school year devoted helping children know and experience the joys of God’s Word. Using the Gospel Story curriculum by Marty Machowski, our hope is to gradually journey through the entire Bible at least once before continuing a child into youth ministry.
Split into two classes—one focused on the youngest children, roughly age four through kindergarten, and one focused on first through third graders—”Children in the Word” spends significant time memorizing lesson-relevant Scripture while building discipleship relationships their teachers.
Basecamp (4th and 5th Grade)
We’ve created a group to pay special attention to fourth and fifth graders, with the goal of preparing these children to filter the unique challenges they will face in today’s culture. Click the button below to learn more:
Outbound (Youth Ministry)
“Outbound” is the youth ministry of New Covenant Fellowship. We exist to learn, love, and live out the grace and truth of Jesus Christ together. Focused on equipping students through leadership development and faith ownership, “Outbound” meets on Sunday nights from 6:00pm-8:00pm for fellowship, games, Bible study, and worship, led by our youth praise team.
Each Wednesday we offer a smaller group setting to dive deeper into how teaching impacts individual situations. We meet from 6:00pm-7:30pm in the youth room and then head out to eat and enjoy a time of fellowship.
Throughout the year we offer various service and outreach events along with several big trips (Senior High Fall retreat, The Edge Conference for Junior High students, a Senior High mission trip, a Presbytery-wide Winter Retreat, etc.) There is always a chance to get plugged in!
